The Reconstructionist movement is forming a Joint Israel Commission, and we are seeking commission members. We are asking members of congregations and havurot to nominate individuals who have strong interpersonal skills, especially involving respectful dialogue and debate, as well as a willingness to listen and to model civility. Candidates should also be committed to the success and health of the Reconstructionist movement. For more information or to nominate someone, please contact Rabbi Maurice Harris in our Department of Affiliate Support.

Registration is now open for our two Reconstructionist summer camps!

Camp Havaya (Pennsylvania) is an incredibly diverse and welcoming community where we encourage our kids to discover what being Jewish means to them—no matter who they are or where they come from. It’s why so many campers call us home!

Havaya Arts (California) is where top-notch arts and summer camp meet. Together, we create a place where vibrant Jewish communal life enhances our art, which in turn enhances Jewish life and identity. It’s where campers become the best versions of themselves.

Registration and more information are available at CampHavaya.org and HavayaArts.org.
