In the last couple of years, violence and hate crimes have struck synagogues and other houses of worship around the world. We will discuss ways to build safety while also building bridges to the multiple communities currently facing increased levels of safety risks in our shared society. We’ll explore some of the lessons we can learn from the Jewish community’s past, as well as how some communities are reaching out to neighbors and allies to support each other in creative ways in these troubled times.
