  3. Faith Organization Letter Against Funding the Commission on Election Integrity

  4. Faith Voices letter in support of keeping houses of worship non-partisan

    Reconstructionist leaders were among the more than 4000 signatories to a letter urging the U.S. Senate not to repeal or weaken current law that prevents tax-exempt religious organizations from partisan political endorsements.   5. Endorsement of NILI Interfaith letter on peace in middle east

    Reconstructionist leaders were among the 35 Jewish, Christian, and Muslim national religious leaders sending a letter to President Trump agreeing that Israeli-Palestinian peace is possible. 

    In a statement released through the National Interfaith Leadership Initiative (NILI), the religious leaders state: “Based on the legitimate, long-standing aspirations of Israelis and Palestinians for national self-determination and security, a two-state solution still represents the most realistic way to meet essential interests of both peoples and to resolve the conflict.

  7. Statement by RRA on Forgoing HHD Call w/Trump

    The following statement was released jointly by the Reconstructionist Rabbinical Association, Central Conference of American Rabbis, Rabbinical Assembly, and Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism.

    The High Holy Days are an opportunity for reflection and introspection. As the leaders of major denominations in American Jewish life, we have been deeply engaged in both, considering the events of the Jewish year that is ending and preparing spiritually for the year to come.

  8. Letter in Support of OFF (Off Fossil Fuels) Act

    The Reconstructionist Rabbinical College/Jewish Reconstructionist Communities and the Reconstructionist Rabbinical Association are signatories to a letter by Food & Water Watch urging members of Congress to co-sponsor HR3671, the OFF (Off Fossil Fuels for a Better Future) Act. The bill would place a moratorium on new fossil fuel projects, and move our electricity and most transportation systems to 100% renewable energy by 2035. It would also funding for jobs and economic development for those working in the fossil fuel industry.
