    My rabbinical career has been anything but planned. I would be a career counselor’s worst nightmare: the conventional ladder of professional advancement has never suited me. Instead, I’ve tried to think boldly about what the Jewish community needs, and have done my best to build institutions that could address those needs.

  7. Launch Grant 2019 Sarah Brammer-Shlay and Donna Cephas

    Donna Cephas and Sarah Brammer-Shlay, students at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College, received $20,000 and $10,000, respectively, through the Auerbach Entrepreneurial Grant program from the College. The grant program offers RRC students and recent graduates the funding, supervision and support to engage in social entrepreneurship and to turn innovative ideas into reality.
