B-Re-Mitzvah Landing Page
As a prequel to our 2022 Convention and in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Judith Kaplan Eisenstein becoming a Bat Mitzvah, we are offering a once-a-month virtual class for those who are studying for their B-Mitzvah or recommitting to Reconstructionist learning. The goal of this class is for adult learners to engage with the movement in exploring evolving Reconstructionist thought and practice.

Medical Science - Coronavirus
The high esteem for medical science that one finds in Jewish sources contradicts the notion that there is an inherent conflict between religion and science. Any decision that does not take the considered opinions of scientific experts into account cannot be considered ethical. How can Jewish teachings from the past help us apply current scientific knowledge to the urgent problems we face today?

Stewarding Earth - Coronavirus
The danger unleashed by the novel coronavirus demonstrates that human welfare is intertwined with the lives of other species and with the health of our planet. The Torah charges us with responsibilities for stewarding the earth and its creatures. Even as the pandemic demonstrates human vulnerability, it also illustrates the power of collective action to make transformational change. To respond to the virus, we have made drastic changes in our day-to-day lives that would have been unthinkable before it struck. What can we do to build on this newfound collective will to change?
