  4. Joint Filing Opposing Anti-LGBTQ Religious Exemptions in Supreme Court Case

    The Reconstructionist Rabbinical Association and many Reconstructionist leaders were among 1,300 clergy and faith leaders representing half a million congregants from approximately 50 unique faith traditions across the U.S. who joined together to send a clear message that businesses open to the public must serve all. The clergy filed a friend-of-the-court brief to the Supreme Court in the Masterpiece Cakeshop vs.

  5. Letter in Support of OFF (Off Fossil Fuels) Act

    The Reconstructionist Rabbinical College/Jewish Reconstructionist Communities and the Reconstructionist Rabbinical Association are signatories to a letter by Food & Water Watch urging members of Congress to co-sponsor HR3671, the OFF (Off Fossil Fuels for a Better Future) Act. The bill would place a moratorium on new fossil fuel projects, and move our electricity and most transportation systems to 100% renewable energy by 2035. It would also funding for jobs and economic development for those working in the fossil fuel industry.
