Hevrutahpreneurship: Partnering for Learning and Leading
Solopreneurship, the practice of single-handedly starting and leading an organization, is a celebrated American entrepreneurial approach. Americans tout the notion that with hard work and hustle, any individual can tackle any challenge.

How Might We Learn Sustainability from "Hot Dudes Reading?"
Before running off to work with a high net-worth client, Jeremy Nowak pauses to offer me, his next door neighbor, some free advice. I ask how startups in the Jewish community can achieve financial sustainability. We need to think anew since traditional pay to stay membership rests in a casket, and no-cost internet access to knowledge and experience is thriving. He invites me to sit on his porch. These kinds of changes have affected a wide range of industries, from newspapers to religion, he explains.

PJI: Hope and the New Zionism
Israel’s Declaration of Independence, read and signed on the evening of May 14, 1948, begins with the story of Jewish persecution and homelessness. Then it proclaims the principles on which the country will be established.

PJI: Flight to Tel Aviv
Each time I get ready to travel to Israel, I make sure that my hair dryer will be able to function using Israeli electricity. I need to turn a small switch so that it can be usable in Israel. The computer and other such smart appliances do not need to switch. They only need an adapter to change the shape of the plug. They know what to do.When I travel to Israel, I also switch my life to a different mode. The long flight and the immigration laws of both countries are the “adapter” I use. When I leave the USA I am an American and I use my American passport.

Condemning UNESCO's Temple Mount Resolution
RRC/Jewish Reconstructionist Communities condemns today’s United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Jerusalem resolution that functionally erases the historical presence of Judaism on the Temple Mount. The resolution ignores the existence of ancient Israel’s connection to the Temple Mount, and Israeli leaders on the left and right have objected to it strongly. We appreciate the U.S.’s vote against the resolution, which a White House spokesperson called “one-sided,” “unhelpful,” and “highly politicized.”
